Miss Renee's solo or graceful scholarship includes tuition for minimum of 10 private lessons with Principal Coach, Renee Mayo, entry fees to one Royalty Theatre regional competition, entry into CASA State Championships, hair and make-up for both competitions, and FREE costume hire of a custom-made costume by Bling Fling!

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible students must be aged between 6 and 12 years in year of application (7 to 13 in year of competition), must not have competed as a solo or graceful competitor in the last 2 years, have completed or will complete Pupil Skills exam in 2023 and participate in STAR classes in 2023 and 2024. All applicants must be finacial members of Acacia with no outstanding fees.

Selection Criteria

The lucky student will be selected by Miss Renee with consideration of, but not limited to:

• Attendance at team classes
• Participation at team classes
• Improvement of skills over the year
• Performance at Acacia Showcase in July
• Performance at CASA Team Competitions
• Participation in calisthenics skills classes and exam
• Skills exam results
• Feedback from team coaches

Scholarship Value

Total scholarship value minimum $500. Skills fees are not included in scholarship. Scholarship is for 1 year only and does not guarantee a place in Miss Renee’s Squad beyond 2024.

The recipient will be announced at Acacia Presentation Day.
