Age: Junior Gold is for children aged 11 to 13 years on 31 December in year of participation.
Description: Junior Gold is a competition team, with high commitment. Entry to this team is by selection only. In this class students will learn 6 items in line with CASA’s item rotation during Terms 1 to 3 and participate in the calisthenics skills and STAR program in Term 4 at their normal class time.
Commitment: High - This is an elite competitive team. Student will perform in our Showcase in July, and the CASA State Championships in August, plus an additioanl team competition in June or July. Classes are held weekly during school terms and during April and July school holidays. It is highly recommended that students in this team do not miss classes unnecessarily, participate in extra classes and stage rehearsals. Students are expected to practise at home from class videos.
