Age: Sub-junior Black Team is for children aged 8 to 10 years on 31 December in year of participation.
Description: Sub-junior Black is a competiition team, with moderate commitment. This class is aimed a student who have previous calisthenics experience and those with no previous experience. New members are welcome. Sub-junior Black aims to introduce students to competitive sport in a fun environment. In this class students will learn 6 items in line with CASA’s item rotation during Terms 1 to 3 and participate in the calisthenics skills and STAR program in Term 4 during normal class time.
Commitment: Moderate - This is a competitive team. Student will perform in CASA May Demonstration, our Showcase in July, and the CASA State Championships in August. Classes are held weekly during school terms and during April and July school holidays. It is highly recommended that students in this team do not miss classes unnecessarily, participate in extra classes. Students are expected to practise at home from class videos.
